Funerals & End of Life Care

I write and perform personalised funeral ceremonies and memorial services.

I also assist families with end of life care – whether that be creating unique rituals in preparation of a loved one’s death, keeping their person at home after death, or arranging DIY funerals.

Funeral Celebrant

I’m an accredited funeral celebrant with training from The Funeral Fix. I create funerals, celebrations of life, and memorial services that are rich in storytelling, and informed with reflection and healing. I work with you to bring the essence of your person into the ceremony – whether it be by decorating their coffin, a ritual they shared with you (like toasting their favourite cocktail), or including their favourite foods amongst the refreshments – together we will create a momentous and memorable send off.

Reviews

“Jordan was amazing - so kind, supportive and helpful. Responded to all calls and emails promptly and nothing was too much trouble for her. This gave us time to focus on family knowing that every arrangement was being well organised behind the scenes. Thank you Jordan.”

“As soon as we met Jordan, we were put at ease by her genuine warmth and sympathy. She truly wanted to get to know my sister and our family, and was open to all of our crazy ideas and suggestions. She even took what we wanted, and came up with even better suggestions, which were so helpful and spot on. Jordan went above and beyond at every step of the journey, meeting with us regularly to keep us on track. The way she took ownership of my sister with her protective nature was incredible, even transporting her to the morgue and taking care of her there to ensure she looked her best. Jordan helped to facilitate the DIY, collaborative and inclusive service that we wanted to hold. She made sure everything went to plan and ran to schedule, as we were very distracted and emotional on the day. Without Jordan I am certain this would have been a very different experience.”

Thank you Jordan for all that you have done in coordinating the components that made the ceremony a positive experience. You captured so many aspects of them in your comments… your humour and compassion shone through and made the formality of the funeral less confronting for us all.”
